Amy (Aphrodite’s mom)
In September of 2016, my rescue dog, Aphrodite, began to attend a place that would further change her life for the better: Fetchers. When she was adopted in March 2016, at the age of two, she was emaciated and had been abused. The journey that came next was this: lots of love, high-quality food, careful attention to vaccines/minor illnesses via her veterinarian—AND QUITE IMPORTANTLY—a busy, social, loving, safe, happy DAILY life at Fetchers! (Yes! Aphrodite attends every day I am at work as a teacher.)
Fetchers (which we playfully call “school” during my school year and “camp” in the summer) has taught her that most people in the world are kind: the Fetch leaders have held her, rubbed her stomach, thrown hundreds of tennis balls, splashed her with water, and one time, even laid down with Aphrodite on her cot when she was boarding overnight; they knew it was her first time doing this and she was likely scared. They have also written hundreds of “report cards”—I have a stack at least one foot high as I have never thrown one away—which I consider cherished written memories of her life.
Fetchers has also confirmed for me what every animal researcher says: dogs (of all personalities) are in some fashion quite social. There are as many personalities of dogs as there are with people; as much as I know Aphrodite loves me and just hanging out at home, her life would simply not be what it is without the relationships with other dogs. She thrives on tons of playing around, just sitting or snoozing in the sun, watching others, and just plain figuring out how to get along with other dogs. I can honestly say that she has the best life I can give to her, and a lot of that is due to Fetchers.
Doug (Chief’s dad)
They love our dog. I cannot say enough about how great the Fetchers family is with Chief. They are by far the best pet daycare in the area. Heck, those girls have helped raise my dog. Over the past two years, we have gotten to know the owners and the employees. They are very aware of each dog. They know the dogs and their owners by name. They know the dogs’ behaviors. Chief loves it there. I will always take my dog there. And, no. I do not get discounts or special treatment. They are just good people who love what they do.
Berkley (Bella’s mom)
We have been taking our sweet girl Bella to Fetchers since she was 6 months old. They are kind, professional, and all around amazing. Why she was a puppy, we used Fetchers for daycare at least 2-3 times a week. She was loved on and always had so much fun. The cameras are such a nice touch. You can check during the day and watch to see how much fun the dogs are having. Now that she is older, we do daycare and boarding. We would not leave her anywhere else. They always treat her like family. Bella has some anxiety and they go above and beyond to help her feel comfortable. I recommend Fetchers to everyone I know. It is the only place we will ever take our fur baby other than family. Thank you Fetchers for being our girl’s second home!
Tracie (Jake & Kona’s mom)
We just booked another stay for our pups for when we have to go out of town. They are wild, crazy, and sometimes rotten. Even after our “hooman” baby, I am still very protective of my fur babies. I have to say… it is SO comforting knowing these two LOVE where they board and are groomed. It is such a comfort to be able to drop them off (THEY FREAK AS SOON AS WE PULL INTO THE PARKING LOT), and know they are in good hands. I have read a lot about Fetchers this past year, and I have to say…my husband and I agree that this is the best for our dogs. Kona, Jake, Casey, McKenzie, and I are so thankful for you all.
Eric & Jordan (Bella D’s parents)
Our dog loves going to Fetchers! They take wonderful care of her and our pup has become an amazing dog over the last couple years, in large part because of the staff. I trust them all with her and they are always in great spirits when we drop her off. Very thankful we found this place. With our crazy schedules they are also accommodating to last minute adjustments and boarding her.
We really appreciated the fact that initially our pup had some behavioral issues and they worked with her and it has helped us greatly!
Thank you very much for the wonderful experience and for loving our pup for us when we are away.
Allison (Jack & Zoey’s mom)
Jack and Zoey have been attending Daycare at Fetchers for almost 2 years now and we cannot say enough about the level of service, cleanliness, and comfortability of the Fetchers Team. The staff has truly become like family to us. Jack and Zoey attend Tuesday daycare every single week and I have never seen them get so excited to see someone. The moment I say “ready for daycare?!” they are bouncing off the walls and can’t get in the car fast enough. The way an animal behaves when they are approached by a staff member says a lot about the relationship and Jack & Zoey are never void of excitement and joy at Fetchers.
The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff pays close attention to each dog and their individual needs. When we have to leave our babies for overnight stays, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure Jack & Zoey are comfortable. They share a room but each gets their own bed and blanket to snuggle with. When you drop off your pups, you can request a report card about their stay, who they played with most and how their overall behaviors and experience went. We also subscribe to the webcam app that helps us check-in during the day when we are away.
We treat our pups like our children and we expect the same from anyone else – Fetchers staff does not disappoint! We wouldn’t trust anyone else!
Christine (Zayne’s mom)
We just love Fetchers Play and Stay. Our boy Zayne goes to doggy daycare five days a week, boards there when we travel and also gets groomed at Fetchers.
The staff is just fantastic – extremely warm and friendly and dog lovers one and all. More importantly, Zayne absolutely loves Fetchers. He literally herds me out the door every morning and once we arrive Zayne practically runs me over – he can’t get to the play yard fast enough.
When we board him they make sure he has a stressless stay and when he gets homesick in the evenings they make sure to give him extra cuddles. They also let you bring your own food and treats, for which many other places charge extra.
Katherine the groomer does an amazing job. Zayne is bathed every two weeks and is groomed every six. She has no problem using Zayne’s special shampoo and conditioner and while grooming isn’t high on his list of things to do, he always has an extra spring in his step on spa days.
Obviously I’m a huge fan. Fetchers is Zayne’s home away from home and he loves his Fetchers family second only to mommy and daddy. I wholeheartedly recommend Fetchers Play and Stay for anyone looking for a fun and loving place for their furry children. They’re the best.
Jessie (Ace & Ranger’s mom)
I have been taking my pups to Fetchers for about 4 years. It is an amazing place to bring your furry loved ones. My dogs go to Fetchers 4-5 days a week and are also boarded for several weeks every year. The staff is amazing. Every person I have encountered at Fetchers has a genuine love for dogs. They are professional, loving and but firm when needed. The team treats each dog as an individual-and responds to their needs accordingly. If your dog is young or old, small or large, happy or ornery- the team will make sure they are loved and cared for. I am so grateful for the care Fetchers provides for my pups. Thank You Fetchers! An added benefit is they are tired and happy when I pick them up.
